Notable trades
HYPE
Nov 2024
~$64M today
Farmed Hyperliquid from a $655 deposit to 17th on the points board, and was airdropped 719,966 HYPE. He sold most of it below $50 and still stakes about 249,000.

LIT
2026
~$5.04M
Posted that he had caught the bottom of Lighter's token, went long two days later at $1.30, and sold 54 days on at $2.37. His biggest win in ten months.
ZEC
2025–26
~$5.6M
A long from $418 to $596 in five days, then a short from $615 back to $421 because ZEC had become boring.
GOLD
19 May 2026
-$188k on the close
A $100M gold short, more than half that market's open interest, built on his account in an hour. He posted that it was meant to be a reduce-only order, and closed most of it the same day.
Trading style
Short often, long rarely, and size the longs. Most of his trades are shorts in ETH, SOL and BTC, held about a day at a median near $750,000 and cut fast. The money comes from a handful of longs held for weeks into tens of millions of notional at 5x to 10x, so he loses about two trades in three and a few winners carry the year. His bio sums it up as gets lucky sometimes.
He runs the big long beside a basket of smaller, equally sized shorts in majors, which trims his net exposure without cancelling the bet. He enters and exits through TWAPs, trades gold and stock perps beside crypto, and reads the news through his own tool, t3rminal, rather than the timeline.
He keeps trading and investing apart. The trading is public; the wealth came from buying and holding spot and getting into new venues early, a habit he sums up as study high conviction bets. The one influence he names is RuneScape. In his view, money is best learned between 14 and 18 in a game like it, not in real life at 18 to 25.

“thought i was a bad trader then, i still think im a bad trader today. 99% of my wealth was made by buying and holding spot.”
“making my own decisions was the right way to go instead of blindly following the herd.”
